Our Berkshire boar Boris is now about seven months old and weighs in around 300lbs. Since we plan to keep him long-term as our breeding boar, and he will top out around 600 to 700lbs., we have tried to socialize him well so he will be easy to handle when he is even larger.
One way we have found to make friends with him is with belly rubs. You just have to watch your feet when he flops over!
